Today, we are jumping to the development site of an incredible five-storey residential building in Brisbane, and getting a behind-the-scenes tour of the progress!
Behind this amazing development is LDC Homes, a Queensland-based construction company that has already helped hundreds of clients build their dream homes.
LDC’s Director Azemm Dannaoui showed Anna around the grand property, at 64 Panorama Place, Mount Gravatt East – press play and see for yourself how this stunning project is starting to take shape!
One glance down from the balcony (or in fact, any of the balconies, you’ve got plenty to choose from), and you see why the address is so fitting – the panoramic views are absolutely breathtaking.
On the very top of the building, you’ll find a sundrenched rooftop terrace, and right below, an entire floor for the luxurious master suite with its own ensuite, walk-in robe, and (of course) a balcony – would be foolish not to with these views!
Raw elements such as concrete and stunning raw timber play a big role in the design, and they are featured in many of the stunning details of the home, such as the staircase connecting the third and fourth floor.
Another cool feature is the lift with its industrial look, take a peak on the video to see this intriguing detail!
The architect behind the astonishing design is Chris Collier of Resonance Design.
He’s an architect that really understands construction and all the natural elements from lighting to incorporating the indoor/outdoor areas and linking everything together.Azemm Dannaoui, LDC Homes
“He’s very smart and creative in that sense and he understands the game, he understands where to spend the right amount of money and how to make it all flow and work,” says Azemm.
On the third floor you’ll find the ‘heart of the home’, the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area which opens up to another beautiful balcony.
The second floor is reserved for a cinema room and four spacious bedrooms, and the last bedroom can be found on the bottom floor, which is perfect for accommodating guests.
From the self-contained guest quarters, you have access to the backyard with the large pool, spa and landscape area with plenty of room to play around.
This light-filled home provides a huge amount of space, and Azemm says it would be ideal for a large family.
“I think a young, big family could grow into the house, it could be their forever home,” he says.
The sloping, tricky site has caused some challenges during the construction, but with good designing and hard work the LDC team have overcome all the obstacles.
“The logistics of everything was very difficult, but we enjoy it – we enjoy the challenge!”
