Two buildings in $700m Sydney project top out
A mixed-use development in Sydney’s south has taken a major step towards completion after two of its four buildings topped out.
The milestone was celebrated with a Smoking Ceremony ritual earlier this week to recognise the Traditional Custodians of the land that the site sits on.
Fridcorp’s $700 million ‘BEYOND’ project in Hurstville will be home to 1,000 residents once fully complete in 2022 after construction continued during the pandemic.
Fridcorp Founder and Director Paul Fridman says that the project has been a huge hit with buyers and is excited to see BEYOND transform its surroundings.
“We are extremely proud to be delivering a project of this quality with inspired amenity not previously seen in Hurstville,” he says.
“We have successfully launched two of three stages with over 80 percent in pre-sales achieved, demonstrating strong demand from discerning owner-occupiers for high quality living options,” Paul explains.
“We look forward to welcoming the residents of the first two towers in September this year.”
BEYOND has been designed by DKO Architecture and Woods Bagot and features four towers varying in height from eight to 20 levels in height.
It will be made up of one, two and three-bedroom apartments with a further 5,000 sqm retail precinct and 800 car parks, firmly putting the suburb of Hurstville on the map.
“BEYOND is an important part of the Hurstville Place Strategy, helping the area to achieve its full potential,” Paul says.
Along with Westfield Hurstville and the recently completed nearby office tower, the new BEYOND retail precinct will help create a future mini-metropolis in Sydney’s south.
