The Byron Bay ‘spa king’ just made a huge splash in Brisbane
Eddie Phillips, the Byron Bay property developer and international ‘spa king’ has spent $4.5 million for a brand-new Brisbane penthouse.
Eddie Phillips made his fortune developing the Phillip Wain spa business in Hong Kong.
Construction is under way on the 60 Moray Street New Farm property, located in the boutique residential building, Maison.
The ‘spa king’ is working with Maison developers Rob and Andrew Gray of Graya, and Frank Licastro of Frank Developments to customise the penthouse and make this highly sort after property home.
In August, Mr Phillips sold his gorgeous three-level Byron Bay home known as Villa Gabrielle on Lighthouse Road for more than $9 million.

When finished, Maison will comprise five intelligently designed full-floor homes.
Inside each of the residence is four generous sized bedrooms, with direct lift access, an abundance of natural light, and cross-ventilation.
All of this captured in a floor-to-ceiling glass framing looking out to stunning views of Brisbane’s skyline, river and New Farm.
The development will have a private recreational deck for residences one to four, which will include a pool, barbecue and outside and lounge spaces.

Whilst Mr Phillips is customising his penthouse, the other residence feature European Oak timber flooring, enclosed gas fireplaces, Vintec wine fridges, Miele appliances and bespoke 2-pac joinery.
There are now only three residences left, with the third level recently selling to a Sydney buyer for just over $3 million.
The penthouse will have a private rooftop space with a pool and barbecue area.
Construction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2021.
