The luxury Dural acreage ticks all the boxes and buyer interest certainly backed that up, with a host of buyers vying for the six-bedroom residence.
Gavin Weekley of Guardian Realty negotiated the sale of the incredible lifestyle pad and says the long list of amenities was just one of the reasons why the rare offering got buyers’ juices flowing.
“It’s one of those properties that’s got everything there,” he says.
“It’s got horse facilities, it has a second cottage, an indoor swimming pool and a tennis court – it really has that resort vibe, which was of massive appeal to everybody, really.”
The dwelling, at 1 Dural Downs Way, had been used by the previous owners to accommodate animals and Gavin explained that the positioning of the home caught the eye among local buyers.
“It’s hard to get five acres of flat useable land like this one in Dural. That’s why this property drew interest from horse enthusiasts and those who wanted a park-like acreage,” he explains.
“The location’s very good, too – it’s only five minutes into the centre of Dural, and if you’re travelling outside peak hours you can get to Sydney’s CBD in 35 minutes.”
The vendors had decided to downsize as they look to “take it a bit easier”, giving four of the keenest buyers the chance to make their move.
“We had four buyers all offering on the property,” Gavin says. “The market’s very strong at the moment, it’s been a very strong start to the year.”
