Stylish Bondi pad snapped up for $6.1m

A flashy four-bedroom home in North Bondi was sold at a packed auction over the weekend for $6.1 million – a suburb record for a semi-detached home.

The luxury property at 31 Reina Street was secured by a local Bondi family for an eye-watering $900,000 above its reserve price.

Located nearby popular cafes and just a stroll to the golden sands of Bondi Beach, the impressive family oasis was a huge hit amongst buyers.

Ray White’s pair of Elliot Placks and Warren Ginsberg managed the sales campaign for the North Bondi pad and it’s safe to say they were kept busy in the lead up to the auction.

“We had 257 groups through this property throughout the campaign, and 15 registered bidders today, which tells you how much the prestige market is booming,” Warren says.

The sellers are upsizing to a neighbouring suburb after deciding to part ways with their family home, leaving the way for the new owners to take the keys and call it their own.

“As you can imagine, the vendors are beyond thrilled,” Warren says.

“They have bought a larger home in Rose Bay and are thrilled that we were able to achieve so far over the reserve.”

The Bondi home is positioned on a 346 sqm block and was crafted by architect Brian Meyerson, with Shellee Gordoun Interiors helping style the fantastic property.
