SOLD! Mornington Peninsula pad snapped up for circa $3m

A vast resort-style home on Victoria’s stunning Mornington Peninsula has been snapped up in a private deal believed to be worth about $3 million.
The five-bedroom angular mansion at 93 Jones Road in Tyabb features a floodlit tennis court, a solar-heated infinity pool and a gym that even the keenest fitness freaks would be proud of!

Kay & Burton’s Ruth Williams told OzHomeNews all about the incredible property and, though she remained tight lipped on the final sale price, did confirm that it sold within its price range of $2.95-$3.245 million.
“It’s a great family home on 2.5 acres of land and it very much offers resort style living,” she says. “It has a great pool and spa, a tennis court and amazing outdoor entertaining areas, too.”
The contemporary residence sits at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula and blends in easily with its fantastic surroundings to give a sense of luxury among the trees.
“It’s a very comfortable, liveable home with fabulous views over Western Port Bay that can be appreciated from downstairs or from the expansive master bedroom suite upstairs, which has a magnificent outdoor deck,” Ruth explains.
A change of circumstances for the vendors meant they had to say goodbye to their home despite only living there briefly, having purchased it in June 2020 for $2.8m according to CoreLogic. Now the new owners, from Melbourne, have their chance to make the most of the stylish house.
“Many Melbourne buyers were looking at doing a tree or sea change after the COVID restrictions eased,” Ruth reveals.
“A lot of people are deciding to have a bit of a different lifestyle with a bit more space and that sort of thing.”
