A luxury sub-penthouse on the Gold Coast has been snapped up for $6.3 million after sitting on the property market for just two weeks.
The three-bedroom beachfront paradise was secured by local buyers in double time as the Gold Coast real estate market shows no signs of slowing in 2021.
Ray White’s Robert Graham told OzHomeNews all about the coastal gem, which makes up part of the exclusive ‘Sea’ complex, and why so many buyers are battling it out for properties on Main Beach.
“It’s pretty special,” he says. “Sea is one of the most impressive whole-floor apartment buildings on the beachfront, not only on Main Beach, but on the whole of the Gold Coast.
“Boutique buildings like this are high on the shopping list for buyers and you’ll struggle to find an apartment of superior quality and with a superior layout to this,” Robert explains.
After being listed for just 15 days, the stylish apartment was secured by a local buyer moving from a large waterfront home.
“It’s a lovely apartment for them to enjoy, and when we’re able to travel, they’ll be able to lock it up and go away for a weekend or three months and won’t have to worry about upkeep or maintenance,” Robert says.
As some property markets have seen periods of stagnation in the wake of COVID-19, the same cannot be said for Main Beach
“All five of the buyers who inspected the property were based on the Gold Coast and were readdressing where they live and how they spend their life as a result of what COVID’s done in terms of limiting travel,” Robert explains.
“I’ve been at Ray White for 20 years next month and Main Beach is performing the best it ever has during that time.”
