A marvellous beachfront home in north-eastern NSW has been purchased for just shy of $4 million less than two weeks after going to market.
The stylish four-bedroom property was snapped up by a couple moving from further down the coast after receiving intense interest from a range of buyers.
LJ Hooker’s Nick Witheriff helped negotiate the sale of the Casuarina home and tells OzHomeNews that all parties were left delighted with the deal, which he hopes is a sign of things to come for the Tweed Coast market.
“The vendors are really happy. It was a fantastic result in such a short period of time, and the house was deserving of the result, it’s a beautiful, well-built home,” he says.
“It was purchased by a retired couple who are moving up from Port Macquarie after they sold their farm.
“They wanted a lower maintenance property with a bit of an easier lifestyle near the ocean and close to Byron and the Gold Coast,” Nick explains.
The brand new pad, at 13 Daybreak Boulevard, was built in October and boasts immaculate features, particularly the al fresco dining area and the inviting pool.
“The pictures speak for themselves – it’s a beautifully on-trend, well-styled home and what caught my attention the most when listing it was the American oak flooring and the stone that’s been used throughout,” Nick says.
It seems there will be many more buyers opting to move up to Casuarina in the months to come as people look for a quieter coastal lifestyle following the recent suggestion that international travel could well be off the cards until 2022.
“We’re very grateful for all the support that we’ve had from all the buyers and sellers, it’s so nice to welcome lovely families from Sydney and Melbourne to the Tweed coast,” Nick says.
“We are very grateful to help out anyone who is thinking of moving to this beautiful area.”
