A Hampton inspired country mansion with a Queenslander flair just landed on the market.
Built during the early 20th century, this five-bedroom home sits on a generous two-acre block in Glenview on the Sunshine Coast.
But, the house didn’t always call these grounds home.
Before 2002 it sat atop of Buderim.
The owner, at the time, saw the potential of the property and decided to reinvent and restore the home.
Undergoing significant changes, he raised the property on steel beams, expanded the front and back, and turned it into a modern Queenslander.
This is no surprise given his decades of experience as a builder.
But how did it become the Hampton inspired country mansion it is today?
Ray White Caloundra property agent, Thomas Garland, said: “When the owner at the time sold the property back in 2018, a designer from Melbourne bought it.”
“The prior owner did all the construction to the house, and the next owner put their stamp on it.”
Mr Garland explained how the designer ripped out the bathroom, laundry and kitchen, and changed the style throughout to suit her liking.
“She turned it into a Hampton inspired country mansion that retains its original look,” he said.
“I would put it up there as one of the best hinterland homes I’ve seen in 20 years.”

Unless sold prior, this property will go to auction on Thursday, December 3.
