The latest in waterfront living has come to Newstead.
Australian property group Mirvac has announced the latest stage of its $1 billion Waterfront Newstead community – a 25-level apartment complex with fantastic views of the Brisbane River and city.
The $180 million Quay Waterfront development will house one, two and three-bedroom apartments, and three and four-bedroom sky pavilions, and has already attracted plenty of attention.
While full details haven’t been released yet, two-bedroom apartments at the forthcoming 57 Skyring Terrace, Newstead, are priced from $775,000.
Mirvac Head of Residential Stuart Penklis said the property group had already received interest from prospective purchasers.
“People are recognising the location of Quay is truly unique, with opportunities to live in such a premium riverside locale, particularly one just two kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, few and far between,” Stuart says.
“We have created a building we believe will become a landmark of the Brisbane skyline and an iconic entrance to the Newstead precinct.
“We … already have a waiting list of buyers keen to visit the sales centre as soon as possible.”
The building design has been described as a ‘park within a park’, thanks to its location alongside Waterfront Park and incorporation of green elements. Extensive greenery has been planted around the buildings and drawn up its facade and large apartment balconies.
But the jewel in the crown will be one of the largest rooftop entertaining areas in Brisbane. More of that lush, tropical plant life can be found up here, alongside a 25-metre infinity pool, alfresco dining, private lounges, and herb and cocktail gardens.
Further resident facilities include a private, penthouse-style kitchen, a lounge and wine room, dining space, yoga studio, gym, and a wellness area.
With less than 150 apartments planned for the 25-floor block, competition for the available spaces is sure to be fierce.
