A landmark Melbourne home has been purchased by a residential buyer with plans to renovate after transacting at an undisclosed price.

The luxury six-bedroom property, at 2 Kinane Street, underwent a successful five-week expressions of interest campaign, which saw a host of keen buyers take a liking to the magnificent residence.

Listing agent, Simone Howell, of Marshall White, helped facilitate the deal and she spoke of her delight at finding a buyer and the positive indication the sale signifies for Melbourne’s property market.
