 Nature-inspired architectural gem Botanic

Botanic is an incredible development project by Joe Adsett, currently underway at 130-134 Sydney Street, right next to the leafy heritage-listed New Farm Park.

The boutique building features 16 luxurious residences and the inspiration for it comes from the surrounding nature.

“A lot of the inspiration came from the beautiful fig trees and the organic, natural materials that we ran throughout the project – the timbers, the natural marble and stone,” explained Joe Adsett, who is both the developer and the architect of Botanic.

Heath Williams, a Lead Agent of Place New Farm, said that due to Mr Adsett playing both roles in the project, unmatched quality and design are guaranteed.

“Probably the biggest point of difference on that building, is that Joe Adsett, the architect, is also the developer, so he has very much a vested interest in the fact, that what he designs, will actually be at built,” he explained.

Botanic has a mix of 3- and 4- bedroom apartments, each of which is planned to deliver the perfect harmony of visually encapsulating features and excellent functionality.

“All the apartments have dual living areas, they all have direct lift access and they all have their individual garages,” said Mr Williams.

The building has proven to be a success, as nearly 75% of the apartments have already sold. The penthouse combining two apartments sold for an impressive $5.75 million.

Mr Williams said that the unique homes have been attracting an exceptionally wide demographic of buyers.

“We’ve got everyone from downsizers to families to gay couples, it hasn’t been just one particular type of buyer at all,” he said.

Construction is starting at the end of this month, and we here at Ozhomenews can’t wait to see the end result!
