Georgian Acreage in Western Brisbane Sold for $4.4m

A vast Georgian-style manor house in Pullenvale has been sold for $4.4 million – setting a suburb record for 2020.
The six-bedroom estate, at 131 Pullenvale Road, was purchased by local buyers looking to upsize.

McGrath’s Brett Greensill, who helped negotiate the sale, said: “There has only been a handful of sales over $4.4 million in Pullenvale ever, this is a very good result.”
The current owner lives overseas and has opted to cash in on the large estate as it is superfluous to their needs.

“The vendor is an Australian living in Asia and has bought an apartment in the city for when they come back, rather than having this large house which they are just not living in,” said Mr Greensill.
The home has had an incredible renovation making it one of Brisbane’s finest acreages, and what’s more, its peaceful positioning makes it seem worlds away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

“It is an acreage on one hectare of land only 25 minutes from town, and it is one of the first acreages from the city,” said Mr Greensill.
“The original house is a Georgian-style home but it has had an extremely high-quality renovation with a modern style,” he said.
The property is located nearby esteemed schools and boasts some stunning features which are evident throughout.
“There is a wonderful cabana by the pool, a tennis house, duck pond, rose gardens and lawns, it is very, very high quality,” said Mr Greensill.
