An opulent six-bedroom home on Sydney’s Upper North Shore has changed hands for $9,399,000 after settling recently – setting a new street record in the process.
The vast property was sold after just 10 days on the market and features manicured lawns that hug a wonderful pool area and tennis court.
Michelle Chen of GGG RealEstate negotiated the sale of the luxury home at 22 Forsyth Street and spoke to OzHomeNews about why buyers couldn’t get enough of the Sydney mansion.
“It’s a really magnificent house with a north-facing rear so it’s very bright throughout the property,” she says.
“The home has a beautiful garden that surrounds a swimming pool and tennis court – it is a very, very nice house.”
The elegant home, which is set on an impressive 2,606sqm block, went to a local buyer from Pymble before it could even make it under the hammer, leaving the sellers over the moon.
“The vendors were overjoyed with the result. I really appreciate their trust in me to let me sell their house for them,” Ms Chen says.
“It sold prior to auction after being on the market for just 10 days and it set a street record too!”
It’s no surprise that buyers were queuing up to get their hands on the Killara property, with proximity to the highly regarded Pymble Ladies College and access to the city’s CBD also catching prospects’ eyes.
Ms Chen was inundated with inquiries for the spectacular property, with one buyer who missed out on 22 Forsyth Street snapping up another nearby home.
