An incredible architecturally designed Brisbane home has been sold for a whopping $6.3 million – smashing the suburb record for Graceville.
Dubbed an “architectural phenomenon”, the five-bedroom home was purchased by a Brisbane buyer who had their eyes on the property since the moment it was listed.
Heath Williams, of Place New Farm, negotiated the sale and he said he had been inundated with inquiry for the riverfront home.
“We had huge amounts of interest from all over town for the property,” he said.
“The eventual buyer inquired about the house within two hours of it being listed and we have been negotiating all this time,” said Mr Williams.
The huge sale of the Graceville home, at 59 Molonga Terrace, is the latest sign that Brisbane’s prestige property market is absolutely flying at the moment.
“It smashes the suburb record for Graceville by a couple of million bucks,” said Mr Williams.
“We had another big property go unconditional yesterday in New Farm for $4.7 million so it’s going pretty good at the moment!” he said.
The Graceville home sits on an imposing 1,369sqm block, and its fascinating design, courtesy of multi-award-winning Base Architecture, really is something to behold.
“It is the definition of luxury,” said Mr Williams.
“It’s industrial and luxurious at the same time. It straddles a very fine line between the two, which not many people can pull off very well, but this one has certainly pulled it off,” he said.
