James Bond superstar and Hollywood actor, Pierce Brosnan has put his incredible Malibu mansion on the market with an eye-watering $140 million ($US100 million) price tag.
The oceanfront retreat has its own private beach and was built after Brosnan pocketed a hefty bonus after the 2002 hit movie Die Another Day.
The five-bedroom Malibu pad is set on a 4,800 sqm double block and features a wine cellar, gym, spa, guest house and, of course, a bar to serve up a cocktail or two, shaken, not stirred…
Inspired by Brosnan’s time in Thailand filming Tomorrow Never Dies, the stunning property took 10 years to build, with Thai-style temples and even the property’s gates influenced from the film star’s time spent there.
With 35 metres of Pacific Ocean beach frontage, the double block was purchased in 2000 for a combined price of $7.35 million.
So, why would the Irish born movie star and his wife, Keely, ever want to leave?!
The couple are now empty nesters, with their two children now 23 and 19, and spend more time in Hawaii rather than their LA pad, so, the opportunity for a new secret agent to move into this luxury estate has arisen.
